These friends formed the band in Upstate NY just 2 years ago, but they are quickly gaining fans beyond the area. They have gigged regularly at the Knitting Factory, the Bitter End and Lion’s Den (NYC), Grape Street Pub (Philadelphia), and Spiediefest in Binghamton, NY (before 7,000). In a rather surreal twist, they were also the headliner at NASCAR’s Kansas City Midwest Thunderfest (30,000). Fueling the band’s success are their dynamic live shows. These guys enjoy playing and it comes across in their infectious sense of humor. They regularly weave covers into their original tunes and often cover old school hip-hop from Sugar Hill Gang to Snoop Dogg. |

The Artist's Statement: Wood is an intriguing material with which to work. I can fashion it to appeal to the visual senses and create an object with a variety of unique tactile characteristics. Generally, my hollow forms/bowls/ plates are made from one solid piece of wood, allowing me to create pieces that display nature's inherent beauties. Making hollow forms, thin walled shapes which are hollowed through a smaller opening, is what interests me the most; however, I enjoy turning anything that allows for artistic expression and unveils the natural beauty of the wood. |

During a dinner party in the summer of 2001, I noticed a flower near the table and became quite fascinated by its structure. I pointed it out to the other guests and returned the next day to make a digital image. Over the following year, I developed a passion for finding images in nature that people often overlook. |
